In our grappling program, students are exposed to the intricate world of ground fighting. These skills can be used for both self defense or competition. As part of this program, students will have the opportunity to learn two grappling arts simultaneously! Currently, the grappling program is only offered on Saturdays, although private lessons are also available.
- Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Our school is a certified academy of the Jiu Jitsu Global Federation under GM Rickson Gracie!
- Yudo/Judo - A grappling sport developed from several styles of classical Jujutsu. Our lineage comes through "Papasan" Jack Stern. The modern sport of Judo focuses primarily on being able to off-balance your opponent using various holds and leverage. Hatfield sensei is an active member of the Kodokan, World Judo Headquarters in Japan. Founded in 1882 by Kano Jigoro.
- Koji Jujutsu - A ground fighting system that blends Kojido, Judo, Vale Tudo and Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Because we place an emphasis on position, leverage and body mechanics, KJJ allows you to control and neutralize an opponent regardless of size or strength. Founded in 2015 by Kaiso Steven Hatfield.
