Historically, many of Japan's most prominent and skilled martial artists were also healers. They served as doctors, bone setters, massage therapists and energy workers. Following that tradition, we offer instruction in several traditional healing arts to our students both as part of our martial arts program or separately. Sessions of each can also be booked by the general public without being an active student of the dojo.
PLEASE NOTE: The healing arts offered by the Technician Dojo are intended to complement - NOT substitute or replace - your total healing program. This work is an important addition to both holistic and conventional medical treatment programs. Use this information in conjunction with the advice of your physician or healthcare practitioner. Though you can gain valuable insight, intuitive readings are not intended to diagnose medical issues or to replace traditional counseling.

- Anma - The term "Anma" refers to both a practice of traditional Japanese massage and to practitioners of that art. Modern shiatsu is largely derived from Anma.
- Reiki - A healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
- Acupressure - An alternative medicine technique similar in principle to acupuncture. It is based on the concept of life energy which flows through "meridians" in the body.
